AN-TI-CI-PA-TION
It's the final week of October and I'm beginning to think that Mother Nature is planning on making a liar out of me. Every year October has started out primarily green and ended with bare trees. Shorter days, with the diminishing daylight hours, trigger the coloring process. With the dark, rainy October we've had, I would have thought that the color would have peaked and the trees would be partially bare by now. And yet look at that hill!
Here's a wider view of that hillside. Click to enlarge.
