JUSTA NOTE ...
Just wanted to check in with y'all.
I've been busy with my mother. My brother, sister-in-law and I will be meeting with one of her doctors today. We'd like his gut instincts about her future -- doctors are loathe to do this -- and then we three have to make arrangements to release her from the hospital. Nurse G and I visited her on Monday. She's getting an IV steroid, which gives her a temporary high, so she was very up and talkative. You'd never know how ill she was by looking at her on Monday. It's still a day-to-day situation.
Thank you again for all of your kind wishes.
My mother is 88; she has lived to know her great-grandchildren. This young mother will not. (h/t Dave)
Pee Ess ... I do not believe for a NY second that Her Royal C will give up her life's dream to run for the White House. I just do not buy this notion she'll back down for any reason. And let's not forget that Slick can't wait to return to the scene of his crimes. All of this speculation is a combination of spin, to make her appear moderate, and PR.
