ABOUT AS APPETIZING AS LEFTOVERS
Apparently HRC wowed 'em in New Hampshire. I've always thought of New England as liberal in general, RINO at best. siiiiigh. Gone are the days when those rugged Pilgrims arrived in Plymouth without nary a government handout in sight, and half of them still managed to survive that first winter.
Party Like It's 1992: For all the talk of her personal independence, her experience and accomplishments as a senator, and the distance she has put between herself and the long shadow cast by her husband, one might think that Sen. Clinton would introduce herself to voters in the first primary state by impressing upon them a sense of who she is as an individual, a formidable politician wholly separate and distinct from her husband the former president. But when it comes to feminism, Clinton takes it only so far as it can take her. Which is not very far. Instead, she retreated right back into the warm and comforting embrace of Bill -- and brought the crowd with her.
Meanwhile, on the Left Coast ...
Not Sold On Clinton: In fact, the Hollywood defections have the same root as resistance to Clinton's candidacy among less glittering Democratic activists throughout the country. A substantial number of them do not want to participate in a coronation of the former first lady because they still doubt her viability as a presidential candidate. They question both her positions on the issues and her skills on the campaign trail.
