AMAZING RACE TO BRAINSTER'S BIRTHDAY
This week’s race is to wish Brainster Pat a HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Kitty Litter e-mailed all teams, informing them that Brainster’s birthday is Sunday (March 4th).
Immediately, conflict arose between Lifelike Pundit and Pat Hynes at Ankle Biting Pundits over LLP’s good-natured ribbing of Brainster’s support of McCain, because ABP Pat works for McCain.
THIRDWAVE, fresh out of the hospital, took a more reasoned approach (well, kinda) by suggesting, “Just wish [Brainster] a Happy Birthday...McCain will take care of the rest on his own!!”
To which ABP Pat replied, “Uh, guys ... I heard that.”
Discussion of McCain’s electability ensued amongst participants, to which KL said, "It's far too early to finish off anybody -- unless (as they say) you get caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy."
This piqued Wyatt Earp's interest: “Is this a concern here? If so, can we get some camera crews over there for CNN?”
Blogmeister chimed in: “It's not healthy for me to laugh first thing in the morning before the caffeine from my Diet Coke has set in!”
LLP and The Man discussed politically themed graphics for the occasion.
Radio Patriots took pity: “Too too funny... poor [ABP]. He's really taking a lickin' on this one..... lol”
All of which left Gayle totally confused over which Pat was celebrating a birthday – and when!
Pat, here's hoping you get what you really want for your birthday :~)

Some wondered about this picture, which I posted yesterday. First of all, I found the photo via an image Google search. I believe I used "Hillary bathing suit."
For those who don't know, or can't recall, the reason for this picture ...
It was taken in January, 1998, while the Clintons were on vacation in St. Thomas. The Clintons, who script every single, solitary second, needed a diversion from Slick's upcoming testimony in the Paula Jones civil lawsuit.
[If you'll recall, Bill Clinton lied during his testimony, which was why he was later impeached.]
Politically speaking, the "Carribbean cheesecake" was a good move because it allowed for some righteous indignation: "We stupidly assumed they'd be granted some privacy."
…
But Clinton also said: ... "I didn't think I was being photographed."
…
So why did the White House complain about an invasion of privacy? I asked.
"This is a post-Diana world," the source said. "It's good to complain about that, and it's good to complain about the press. It makes the public more on your side. But a picture of the two of them dancing? You can't lose with a picture like that."
Remember Geffen's words: "Everyone in politics lies, but they do it with such ease, it's troubling."
